I have a FujiFilm Finepix Z5fd and a 1 GB memory card.

I used the camera memory to take some pictures without the memory card. I had left my memory card at home. I now want to get the pictures on the camera memory to the card memory to get onto my computer. I've done it once before...just forgot how. Can you help?

I don't have a cord to connect my camera to the computer. I lost it somewhere.

Thanks in adavance!  Smiley

Hi Elise252 and welcome to the Q&A Forum!

I now want to get the pictures on the camera memory to the card memory to get onto my computer. I've done it once before...just forgot how.

Insert the memory card into your camera. In the Playback menu, find the Copy menu and select Internal Memory > Card.

Then follow the instructions in the manual on page 80 and the images will be transferred from the internal memory to the card. If you don't have the manual, you can download an electronic (PDF) version here:

http://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/ServiceSupportProductContent.do?dbid=864276&prodcat=858714&sscucatid=664271

There is a lot of help and info for your camera here:

http://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/ServiceSupportProduct.do?prodcat=858714

Once the images are transferred to the memory card, transfer the images to your computer using the supplied USB cord, with a memory card reader or the reader that may be built into your PC or notebook computer.

By the way, once you've transferred the images from the internal memory, erase it so it's available for use the next time. Don't forget to remove the card first, otherwise it will be erased instead of the internal memory.

I wish all cameras had built-in memory. It's a great feature for those of us who forget to put the memory card back into the camera (Of course, I've never done that.  Wink Grin)
