Hiya guys:)

Just a problem, when I take a photo with my Casio digital camera the photo shows up as its like really over exposed, just basically really light/white. But when I film something its normal.

Ive checked the settings and they are all fine, I havent done anything to the camera to damage it.

Was just wondering if anyone has come across this before and knows what to do? Im going on holida in a few weeks and cant afford a new camera or to get it fixed so im abit upset and mostle baffled!

Thanks Smiley

Welcome to the Q&A Forums.  Smiley
Is the overexposed image in the LCD or when you're viewing on your computer? Sorry to answer your question with a question but it's possible you inadvertently changed the brightness setting on the LCD though I would expect that should affect the movie mode as well.

Hey there, thanks for the welcome:)

Its on the LCD screen, the photo looks completely washed out if that makes sense. The film mode is fine though which completely baffles me lol.

Thanks:) + Heeeelp!

Have you tried resetting your camera? Check the menus for a reset function. If there is none, check the manual for how to reset the camera which may involve taking the battery out of your camera for about a half hour. You'll have to reset things such as date and time but it may resolve your problem.

Thanks for you reply, yes I have tries re-setting it, but its exactly the same. Im not sure what it could be. Would it be something to do with the lense? But with the movie working, im not so sure...

I suggest you give Casio tech support a call. They should be able to pinpoint the problem.
