Digital cameras 101

Camera has been working fine but now, but suddenly it doesn't auto focus.  It does pass through a sharp focus but then seems to continue to search and ends up way out of focus.
I reset everything to original and also checked that it happens in no matter if AF is set ON or OFF
Any ideas?

If your camera all of a sudden stopped focusing, you should call Panasonic tech support. They can best determine if it needs to be sent in for repair.

If it needs repair then weigh the cost of buying a new camera over the actual cost of repair, which can be expensive.
