I've been using my Agfa 780 for years. Always works. But last week I got a frightening error message; my camera was not connected to my computer. It was and is. Same cable, same everything. I used CD to reinstall. That didn't work. I tried every method known to man to find and reinstall camera drivers, to no avail. Agfa  told me they couldn't help because my 780 has been discontinued. Did anyone have this problem? How did you resolve it?  Thanks.

Hi pmoyni,

Welcome to the Q&A Forum.

I assume that your digital camera is still working and that the main issue is the unavailability of camera drivers for direct transfer of images from the camera to your computer.

If this is the case, I suggest you invest in a memory card reader. They are fairly inexpensive and you can use it, rather than your camera, to transfer images to you computer. Among other things, you'll save battery power by using a card reader.
