I was hoping someone out there could help me with a problem.  I have a Kodak CX4300 digital camera.  I was taking a picture earlier today and the battery door opened as I was taking a photo, and now the camera will not come back on.  Did I fry it?  I tried different batteries, let it rest for a while and still no power.  Huh Nothing will come on now.  Please advise.  Thank you.  Linda

Hi Linda,

Welcome to the Q&A Forum!

I honestly never heard of this problem. Since you tried fully charged batteries, I strongly suggest you call Kodak tech support. The camera is about 4-5 years old and maybe it's simply at the end of it's lifespan.

Here are some things to consider before sending a camera in for repair:

Let us know how it goes, as the information you share will help others.
