Hi,
Long-winded question time:
I have a Minolta Dynax 5D. I like it a lot. I also have a new and as yet unused Sigma 2x Teleconverter EX DG, which fits very nicely onto my Dynax. Unfortunately the 70-300mm Sigma and Minolta lenses I currently use do not fit the Teleconverter - I've taken the lot to a couple of local shops to verify that it's not just me being stupid!
I need to know (asap) which 300mm lens I can get that will DEFINITELY fit the Teleconverter, an idea of price, and some possible outlets. I appreciate that the KM is no longer being made, but do I understand correctly that the new Sony lenses will fit it?
As the Teleconverter is a Minolta fit version, should I be looking for Sigma lenses with a Sigma fit or a Minolta fit to attach to the Teleconverter?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!

Many, many thanks.

Hi and welcome!

I'm not familiar with your particular converter, but you are correct to asssume that Sony now makes mounts that supports Minolta lenses.

As for your converter, I found this web site (in French) by Googling simply 2x Teleconverter EX DG. I suppose it is the right converter. If so, you will at the bottom a list of lenses that will fit.

For more information, I suggest you contact Sigma, as the link I found might not be perfectly p to date.
