I have a kodak z-650 and while trying totake pics of my kids sports inside a gym the pics are to dark.I have messed with the settings a little but was looking for some suggestions or help.

Hi Doug and welcome to the Q&A Board!

Taking photos inside something like a gym can be very challenging because lighting is usually low.

It would be helpful if you could share with us some of the settings you used, such as ISO and shutter speed.

It could be a number of things but one of my guesses is that you may have zoomed in too much. Your camera has a 10X zoom.

When using the long telephoto end of the lens, less light gets through the lens. When shooting in low light, shoot at or near the widest angle and crop when you edit your photos.
