Yes, there are digital cameras that offer more than one file format. Some have two: jpeg and tiff; some have three: jpeg, tiff and raw. These options tend to be found on more expensive digital cameras. A few high priced ones such a digital Single Lens Reflex cameras have the option of shooting both jpeg and raw simultaneously.
If your camera has only JPEG then you can save it as a TIFF. Here's a recent thread about using TIFF files:
