Hi, I am new here here. When I take a picture my camera delays from the time I press the button and it flashes until the actual picture is taken. Has anyone else run into that problem and how do you deal with it? My camera is a Sony smart zoom DSC-p92.   I have missed good pictures because of this delay reaction and would like to learn how to deal with it. thanks.

Hi Auntk and welcome to the Q&A Board. Trust me, you are not alone, pretty much everyone has run into "shutter lag". There's a nice article here that explains a little about shutter lag. Basically, beyond what's outlined in the article (or getting a new camera with less lag time  Tongue), it's a matter of being aware of the issue and adjusting for it.
