I would like to know if an 80X Compact flash card can be used in a Canon s200 digital camera and take pictures at 80x speed.

Hi there Steve, I reviewed the online manual and could not find a listing of compatible CF cards there. Hmmm, you could try contacting Canon support by email at: http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=SupportDetailAct&fcategoryid=223&modelid=7507

Let us know what they say.

Do check with Canon to see if they recommend a high speed memory card. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that it will take full advantage of a high speed memory card.

I believe your model is one of the first that uses Canon's DigicII processor. It speeds up camera performance including start-up time, continuous shooting and video recording.
