A570IS Features

I’ve recommended Canon A series cameras to more people I can recall. These cameras are compact, reasonably priced and offer a full array of features. Just goes to prove that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get very good image quality.

The A570 is one of the first A cameras with Image Stabilization.

  • 7.1 megapixels
  • 4x optical zoom lens with Image Stabilization (35 - 140mm/35mm equivalent)
  • 2.5″ LCD
  • Full manual and semi-automatic exposure modes
  • Face Recognition Auto Focus/Auto Exposure
  • Numerous factory optimized scene and shooting modes
  • In camera red-eye reduction
  • Optical zoom viewfinder
  • ISO sensitivity up to 1600 including a High ISO mode
  • Manual and semi-automatic controls
  • 30 frames-per-second VGA (640×480) video with sound
  • Takes wide angle and telephoto converter lenses
