FZ18 High Angle mode

High Angle

Use when holding the camera above your head, such as taking photos in a crowd. You won't forget to shut this mode off. When it's turned on and the FZ18 is held normally, you can hardly view the screen.

Low Angle

Well, there really isn't a low angle mode.  But to take shots at low angles, simply turn the camera upside down when in High Angle mode. Images remain right-side up thanks to the camera's orientation sensor.

Better than nothing

While the High Angle mode is certainly not as effective or easy to use as a tilt-and-twist LCD, it's certainly better than nothing.
