A570 Hints & Tips
AiAF/Face Recognition
Like some other features found on digital cameras, Face Recognition technology seems to work best when light is good. I only turn FD on when taking photos of people. If no faces are detected in a scene, the camera shoots in AiAF mode. AiAF is not as reliable at focusing as when using single area focus.
Using the A570 flash
The flash can be painfully slow, especially if not using fully charged batteries. So use them, The flash does go off slowly but continuosly when using the flash. Flash recyle times are better when shooting in continous mode.
LCD
The LCD needs a screen protector. I personally like the easy-to-apply ones made by Boxwave. I use the one that is"anti-glare" but they also make clear protectors.
